ART & EDUCATION
The work of Carmen Valverde has been the subject of study in different educational centers, forming the project "Education through art."
When the students visited EXPRESSIONS they experienced a wide variety of emotions and feelings when interacting with the painter's collection.
After studying and visiting the painter's work, the students made their own interpretation of the paintings with which they had most connected.
The artist visited the schools to explain not only the techniques she uses but also the process of each creation and thus answer all the questions that the students asked.
The experience was repeated with ESSAYS and PRIDE AT HOME collections, which was exhibited for two months in the Textile Museum and Casa Alegre de Sagrera Museum of his city, respectively. A complete success with visits from different art centers and schools.
The training of the students and the introduction to the world of art were enriching moments for the artist, who was able to enjoy the passion that her works aroused in them.
